The firm was founded by Colin Hornby, a solicitor whose approach to family law was shaped by lived experience. As a separated parent working full time, he understood the realities faced by parents balancing complex personal circumstances with professional and financial responsibilities. He also recognised that much of traditional family law practice was inflexible, inefficient, and unnecessarily burdensome. This firm was established to offer something better.
